“I was interested in chiropractic from a young age, when an accident which injured my lower back stopped me from doing simple regular tasks as well as the sport that I loved. I suffered for weeks before a friend recommended I see a chiropractor. The instant relief was what inspired me to become a chiropractor. From then on I used chiropractic whilst swimming internationally to enhance my performance and keep me injury free. From this personal experience I am motivated to not only treat the pain, but also get you back to what you loved to do post injury – at the end of the day it is doing the things we enjoy which makes life fun.”

Activator Protocol – Advanced Rated Doctor
This instrument adjusting technique allows very specific, low force spinal and extremity adjusting. This technique offers patients a lower force option to the regular manual adjustments. This technique is particularly good for those in severe pain with lack of movement, those with osteopenia or simply those who do not want to hear a “click” or “pop.”
Dry Needling
“The technique of dry needling using acupuncture needles in the treatment of myofascial trigger points”
Sorcha uses dry needling with the goal of releasing or inactivating trigger points to relieve pain or improve range of motion. Preliminary research supports that dry needling improves pain control, reduces muscle tension, and normalizes dysfunctions of the motor end plates, the sites at which nerve impulses are transmitted to muscles. This can help speed up the patient’s return to active rehabilitation.
Dry needling is not acupuncture, a practice based on traditional Chinese medicine and performed by acupuncturists. Dry needling is a part of modern Western medicine principles, and supported by scientific research.
Myofascial Kinesiology Taping
Sorcha trained in Myofascial taping techniques to help enhance performance, prevent fatigue, promote circulation and speed recovery. This taping technique is used widely throughout the sporting world and can be seen worn by many high level athletes. However, we have found that it has just as important a place within the clinic environment helping everyday people perform better, recover faster and maintain correct posture for longer.
