“Taking part in sport is a great way to keep fit and healthy. However, if certain steps are not taken, sports can place a great deal of stress on the body.”
Sports Chiropractic
At Advanced Chiropractic all of our team are sports enthusiasts who are here to give you the best treatment possible to get you back in the game.
A combination of depth of knowledge and a wide variety of treatment methods means we can quickly reach a diagnosis and offer safe and effective treatment. However, Chiropractic treatment isn’t just for sports injuries. Not only can it speed up your recovery times, but by looking to optimise the way your muscles and joints function we will also look to improve your overall performance and reduce the risk of any further injury.
“Chiropractic isn’t just for injuries…It can help performance too”
Sports injuries can be new and acute, or chronic and ongoing. Our job at Advanced Chiropractic is to get to the root cause of the problem and get you back in the game as fast as possible. With our team of Chiropractors and Sports Massage therapists we have the tools to keep you doing the things you love without pain. And, by working on rehab exercises, functional movements, joint mobility and muscle quality we aim to make you even better!
Golf and Chiropractic
Our team at Advanced Chiropractic regularly work of athletes of all levels and abilities, from commonwealth weight lifters, to rally drivers, to rugby players and 5-a-side weekend warriors. No matter your sport, no matter your ability we are here to keep you in the game. However, we thought we should make a special mention of the relationship between golf and Chiropractic. Clinic Director David Elliott has undergone golf-specific training with the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) and is a registered Golf Specialist Chiropractor.
“A properly functioning body is able to swing a golf club in the most efficient way possible. This translates to more yards off the tee and less pain during or after a game. Physical limitations in a player’s body can adversely affect the golf swing and potentially lead to injury. So not only does your game suffer, but your body may too. A Chiropractic Golf Assessment is a great way of identifying any limitations that may be holding back your handicap, or potentially leading you to injury at a later date.”
Advanced Chiropractic offer Golf Specific Assessments to check that your body is working at it’s optimum, keeping you playing the sport you love as long as possible.
